Web Programmer
Medianet Ireland, a Via Net.Works company, have a vacancy for a skilled web
programmer, working on web sites and e-commerce solutions for corporate
customers. The successful candidate will be a key part of Via Net Works'
E-Commerce Team, undertaking major projects, including database-driven web
sites and on-line applications.
The successful candidate will display a mastery of Perl and have experience
with CGI and SQL, in particular MySQL/mSQL. Candidates' skills with HTML
will be an important consideration and familiarity with other programming
languages (C, C++, Java) would be an advantage. The successful candidate
will be expected to have an excellent general appreciation of issues related
to the world-wide-web and e-commerce.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing company in an
exciting industry. The position is based in our offices in central Dublin,
in a stimulating but relaxed environment.
