Imagemagick is the biz for this. Use its convert tool. While im at it,
id like to say that imagemagick is a lot better than rasterbutt's imlib
for file formats, imlib can handle squat on its own and always throws it
out to the netpbm library to handle nearly all formats. So im
delighted to see that someone is wrapping some glib/gtk/gnome stuff
around imagemagick to make it possible enhance/replace/rip out and dance
on its grave imlib.
(snide flamebait mutterings) Ego tripping meglomaniac, write his own widget

little clique, doing interviews of eachother ad nauseum. "And how did you
do that amazing <insert useless piece of toss here>", gagh.
