This is sooo far off-topic it's almost sinful... But there
are more clues around here that yer average collection
of nerds.
Does anyone here have access to a copy of
COM/DCOM Unleashed? Apparently, in the text
surrounding Listing 7.4, it describes the format of
the AppID\{...}\AccessPermission registry value
which encodes an ACL.
Under WinNT, this is a self-relative ACL. That's OK...
Under Win9x, it's something different... I need to know
this.
If you can get your hands on this book, could you check
if it describes the Win95 format?
