I know glibc is good. I believe it. I even like it. If a move to GNU hurd
is required, it'll make things a lot easier. However, there were also
incompatibilities between glibc 2.0 and glibc 2.1 - I mean, what's the
story ?
As for the C++ library incompatibility thing; anyone that uses C++, and
expects binary compatibility deserves what they get.
