[ILUG] smbmount question

hello!

This morning I updated most of the rpms for redhat 6.0 on my main server.
But on my desktop also running 6.0 I didn't bother. Anyway as a
consequence of upgrading on the server, samba went from 2.0.3-8 to
2.0.5a-1.

This afternoon, I was trying to connect to the PDC and using smbclient
both my server and desktop can connect no problems. But when I got to use
smbmount I running into problems. On my desktop, I can mount using:

[root at domain dave /root]# smbmount //compserver/notes -c 'mount /mnt/notes' -U
help%*********
Added interface ip=193.1.127.204 bcast=193.1.127.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Server time is Tue Sep 14 14:54:48 1999
Timezone is UTC+1.0
Domain=[COMPDOMAIN] OS=[Windows NT 4.0] Server=[NT LAN Manager 4.0]
security=user
[root at domain dave /root]#

Fair enough! But the '-c' switch doesn't work under the new version! So on
the server I am trying:

[root at domain hoth RPMS]# smbmount //compserver/notes /mnt/notes/ -U help
Added interface ip=193.1.127.21 bcast=193.1.127.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
mount error: No such device
Please refer to the smbmnt(8) manual page
mount failed
[root at domain hoth RPMS]#

What command should I be using with 2.0.5a-1 instead of '-c'? or is there
one? I checked the samba mailing list and a few people similiar problems,
but I couldn't find any responses to their postings :(

TIA,
Dave
