i'm guessing the real speed problem lies between you and california.
by 6pm the entire usa is online (and the east coast is on their
lunch time surfing break).

and a general question, what are the costs with relation to an isdn line?
call charges, online charges, and isdn has different channels - how
does that work and what are the options here?

in other words isdn for irish dummies.
