I've got a web box with virtual hosts and virtual mail users (via
sendmail8.9.3).
so in the virtual user table I have something like:
info at domain virtual.com joe.bloggs at domain realsite.com
The web box is www.realsite.com, but it is not the mail server.
I want it to send the mail for joe.bloggs at domain realsite.com to the
propper mx record'd place.
Whats happening is that sendmail is stripping the local domain
part and delivering locally, or failing to (if joe.bloggs doesn't
exist).
I've tried putting in a smart relay (DR feature(SMART_RELAY,
'relay.esat.net') say)
But then it tries to deliver to joe.bloggs at domain relay.esat.net. Not what I
want.
Any ideas ?
Sean.
.
(ps, relay.esat.net is an example, don't start using it,
or Dave will do nasty things).
