For companies anyway, MCIWorldCom provide emailed billing including
detailed data for further analysis (like what colour phone dialled a 3 in
the number at 4 in the morning if it was raining, sort of analysis).

It would be useful for me to get my phone bill
electronically as well as on paper. I imagine that
companies would like this too.

Well, I called eircom and asked if this was possible.
It's not :-( I asked the lady to pass the suggestion
up the ladder (although I don't hold out much hope...)

If anyone else thinks that this is a good idea, and wants
to support the cause, please call 1901, hit 3 for accounts
and ask to get your bill by email.

As good ole Alfie says on
http://www.eircom.ie/AtHome/News/ItsYourCall/eircom.html

My aim for eircom is to offer you the best level of service
in terms of quality, choice and value. We want to respond
better and faster to your needs and provide you with a choice
of products and services that are easy to understand and use.

Let's see if they can respond to my need...

Later,
Kenn
