Hi, I'm presently using Caldera 2.2 on my AST P75 and previosly had a 33.3
internal isa card modem which worked fine but that failed last week and I
bought a new modem - a 56k modem - external to avoid the winmodem problems
but I cannot get it to work at all. In kpp setup it says modem busy or port
in use depending on what com port I use and I cant find minicom to check it
out. It is a Genius GM56flex ptt modem and it works fine in windows 95 and
in win NT - both Workstation and Server so I know its not a hardware
problem. Anyone have any solutions or tools I can use to diagnose the
problem.
