see cfinger. i think it's a gnu thing. but also check out the
options to the stock fingerd on redhat systems. if you add a
flag or two it does the useless and insecure task of being a
finger gateway to machines inside your firewall. (it's the -f
option. i added it when i added the -t option. consider it a
security balancing feature to appease the script kiddie demons).
