I have just installed Linux on Digital laptop. I am using a PS2 mouse but
the thing doesn't work in linux. It works fine in Windows.
I tried compiling the kernel with the PS/2 option and with the PS/2 option
and the C&T 82C710 mouse port support (as on TI Travelmate) option.
Neither worked.
The messages at boot up time say that the mouse has been detected.
I tried disableing the touchpad in the CMOS but that didn't work. The
touch pad is also a PS/2 mouse but it doesn't work in
linux eather.
Both mice work fine in windows.
X-Windows runs but you can't move the mouse.
