Well, I put my foot in it this time. I've been working on getting my USB scanner
working with Linux, some progress, but not much. I've been talking to Test
Development here to implement Linux for some of our testers. They're somewhat
keen on the Idea, but they don't have the time. I've now got my hands on a USB
modem that we need to develop testing for, but no one has taken it up. I would
like to try to generate a Linux Test programme for this BEFORE they get the
Windows version working. I'm Not a programmer, but one of their programmers is
willing to give me as much help and code as I need. Now my only problem is, I
need a GUI for it. Could someone give me a hand with the GUI if I provide the
info needed? I've got access to the Windows GUI code if anyone can convert that.
I'd just like to see the look on the bosses face if I could hand him a Linux
programme for testing this product before his team can get the Windows version
going.
I suppose I should learn to keep to one project at a time.
Cheers,
John Gay
