A Q&A type thing ? Slashdot has something like it, and they ask people the
silliest questions, they really do. Anyone remember the chat with Alan Cox
we had in Galway, after the RedHat install demo ? That was brilliant fun,
and had someone a tape recorder, that would be something to put up on the
web. Ponder. I'm thinking that an email interview with a few people that
would be interested in doing this, and some of these "unknowns" would be
I'd also like to interview people like the Rasterman with questions like
"A lot of people think that the way you left RedHat was unprofessional, and
made you look like a spoilt child - would you do it again ?", or "Have you
considering being tested for Dysgraphia over your spelling?".
Ponder. How about someone announces that they are going to email interview
someone, then we discuss over the list what questions to ask (so people can
refine them, and add knowledge of the person, so that pertinent and
interesting questions are asked. Do that every week, and in a year you
could have an interesting "Who's who" of the freeware world.
Damn, I wish I'd more freetime on my hands.
