yes. it's daisychained with irq2.. ie irq2 = irq9, for backwards
compatibility with pc's from really way back.

guess at once stage they had only 8 irq's in pc's. so to get more they
hacked it by daisychaining 2 pic's... (yuk). and unbelievably pc's still
have to support this kludge... :(

is there something on irq2 (there shouldn't be), then it's most likely
hardware bug in the aha152x.. they're awfully shitty.

i've used irq9 on intel VX and Via mvp3 and it works fine.
