Hi all,
Due to a big disk crash here a couple of weeks ago and the fact that my
boss wouldn't take my advice and buy a decent backup system, I've got to
recover the text from some pdf files.
These files have a reasonable amount of fancy formatting (tables and the
like mostly) so I'd ideally like some way of converting them to rtf or
something similar. However, any format will do so long as I can get the text.
A search on google brought up a couple of promising tools, but they all
need Acrobat Exchange which I don't have.
If anyone knows of tools that'll do this under linux or windows I'd be
grateful if you could pass on the knowledge.
Replies off list please as this is way off topic...
Thanks,
Kathryn.
