Hmm. two things.. as someone else mentioned, try the 192.168.1.* network,
and
does your Ne2K on the Windows box have a 10B2 transceiver as well? If it
does, have you
set it to use the 10BT connector? Might be worth getting a crossover cable
anyway, just
to be sure the hub isn't knackered (
layout is:

Plug 2
white-green

white-orange
brown
white-brown

For an ordinary cable use two * plug 1)
