If you think OOP is stupid to begin with, then Perl's implementation of it is
perfect, since it is nothing more than a package of data structures and
subroutines with some trendy labels attached --- witness modules like CGI.pm,
which are just as happy to be called in traditional fashion as as objects.

Or have I missed your point?
