Hi all,

One of my colleagues recently did a custom install of RH6.0, leaving out
various packages. Being a relative newbie he didn't install any sources or
development utils. This has finally caused him a problem today when he
tried to compile nmap.
Not being familiar with either RH6.0 or egcs, can anyone tell me, exactly
which rpms need to be installed from the CD to allow him to compile apps
successfully?

I installed a few of the more obvious ones with 'egcs' in the title, and now
I'm getting an error along the lines of egcs not being capable of creating
executables, when I run the configure script for nmap.

Any help at all would be appreciated,
