Found one at lunch time (49.99 in Game)...
It's USB and PS/2... I decided to mess around with the USB connector...
Redhat 6.1... I built 2.3.20 with USB support as a module, and installed
the kernel and rebooted.
I then did
insmod usbcore
insmod usb-uhci
insmod hub
insmod mouse
and suddenly, the mouse started glowing!
I then spent a few minutes hunting the usb howto, and found the magic
incantation
mknod /dev/usbmouse c 10 32
Changed /etc/X11/XF86Config to point to /dev/usbmouse instead
of /dev/mouse, with mouse type of IMPS/2, and restarted X...
it's happy!.. it's working.. I'm amazed.. that was relatively painless!
It's a big mouse, but I think I'm going to like it.. just have
to try quake III when I get home :)
