I'm currently using a Fujitsu Lifebook E350 for work that dual boots between NT
and RH6. I previously had RH5.2 on there but that had one or two issues around
the suspend function that I never had time to iron out. No such probs with the
latest release though ;-)) I've even had Suse 6.1 installed for a brief
period.
There's a 3Com modem and a Xircom "CreditCard 10/100" nic and all work
perfectly ( the RH5.2 install was done via ftp from a local server!)
Screen is nice and bright and runs at 1024 x 768 without issue. Getting X to
work did take a little fiddling but I'll be posting my config file to a web
page sometime this week.
On the practical side it's a little weighty but it has survived a number of
impressive falls (without the case !!!)
Just a thought,
Regards,
Ciaran.
