Er, the X server running on your PC is the equiv of startx running on the
Linux box. To get KDE, all you need to do is telnet into the Linux box:
$ export DISPLAY=windowsbox:0
$ xterm &
$ kwm &
where "windowsbox" is the IP address of your windows box. I'm not sure how
to start a KDE session, so I've guessed by saying that just running kwm
will do:)
