I reckon it's just that he wasn't sufficiently tech-savvy to pick up on
most of Bill's, um, invalid assumptions. Statements like 'we work hard
so our software is better than the free stuff' would have been picked up
by any tech journo, but I doubt Paxman uses apache.
Having said that, I'm surprised that his researchers didn't dig out more
dirt on Bill to question him about. It's not like it's hard to find.
