Seeing as loads of stuff uses the readline library, I've thought about,
and then discarded, the idea of reading up enough about it, to customise
it. Don't suppose you'd post a ~/.readlinerc or something to see what sort
of nice stuff you can do with it, hmm ?

Speaking of a ~/.emacs file - there is a nice (newish) LISP tutorial
dedicated to getting enough into your brain so you can configure sawmill or
emacs. http://moebius.dartmouth.edu/~emk/learning-lisp/learning-lisp.html Not 100% complete yet...
