Greetings!
You are receiving this email because you are listed as the main contact
for a particular user group or professional association. If you are no
longer the user group or association contact, please forward this message
to your group's current officers.
Why is Adobe Systems Interested in Your User Group or Professional
Association?
Adobe Systems develops, markets and supports computer software products
and technologies that enable users to create, display and communicate all
kinds of information - in print, online or on the Internet. We recognize
the valuable service that user groups and professional associations
provide in raising awareness and building understanding among computer
users. That's why Adobe User Group Relations & Professional Associations
wishes to support the user group and association community and maintain
long-term relationships with its leaders and members.
What Will Your User Group Receive When You Register?
Throughout the year, registered user groups and professional associations
receive useful Adobe product information of interest to their group which
helps them better serve their membership. We will provide your group
with:
Adobe Product Information Mailings
Regular bimonthly mailings from Adobe provide the leaders of user groups
and professional associations with a variety of information. These
mailings feature company editorials; current press releases; product
white papers, product and market backgrounders; new feature highlights;
fact sheets; tips and techniques to supplement your group's newsletters,
websites and meetings.
Speaker Presentations and Demos
Adobe speakers are frequently available to attend group meetings and
conferences to demonstrate Adobe software products and technologies. To
arrange for an Adobe product presentation and demonstration at one of
your group meetings, complete the Adobe Speaker Presentation Request form
online at www.adobe.com/support/usergroup/events.html, e-mail
usergroup@adobe.com or use the automated Adobe FaxYI response systems at
650-556-8481.
If an Adobe representative is not available to attend one of your group
meetings, you may request an Adobe Demo-In-A-Box to assist one of your
group members in preparing a demonstration. The Adobe Demo-In-A-Box kit
contains a presentation guide, product sampler CDs, a software raffle
item and product literature.
Review Software
Adobe software products are provided free for review in user group and
association newsletters and on Web pages. To receive Adobe software for
review, your current president or newsletter editor must send us a
request (by mail, on organization letterhead). Include some general
information about the group and a current newsletter or a hard copy of
Web site product reviews.
Every organization has 60-90 days to review an Adobe software product.
Once a group publishes the software review, the current president or
editor may request another software product to review. Send the
newsletter containing the published review, along with the new software
request, to Adobe User Group Relations & Professional Associations. Upon
receipt of the review, Adobe will consider the next software request.
Online Presence
The latest Adobe product information, current press releases, newest
customer spotlights and more are available for publication in your
newsletter. To download these documents, check out the Adobe Web site -
www.adobe.com or ADOBESYS, the Adobe forum, on CompuServe.
Events
Adobe supports user groups and professional associations with special
user group events at trade shows. Adobe representatives may also be
available for participation in conferences, forums, receptions, and fund
raisers to meet with user group officers and professional association
members and showcase the very latest Adobe products.
