:: Projects :: Linux Mandrake Localisation

Iarradh orainn leagan Gaeilge den téacs ar an leagan Mandrake de Linux a cur ar fáil.

Faoi lathair tá cuigear againn ag obair air, ach tá cabhair de dhíth orainn go géar.
Má theastaíonn uait cuidiú linn, seol ríomhphost ag breatpro @ dublin.ml.com-nospam007, beidh oraibh an seoladh a socrú i gceart!

We have been asked to translate the Mandrake Linux install strings into Irish Gaelic (ga).

There are five of us at the moment working on it, but as usual we are short on time. If anyone out there would like to help please feel free to email me on the above email address, you'll have to fix it first though!

The best place to get the files which need to translated is http://www.linux-mandrake.com/l10n/translations.php3.
The current/ folder (FTP Style) contains the almost current efforts.

Stádas: 19 Aibrean, 2000. 29% criochnaithe.

Updates:
April 19th, 2000.
Proinnsias Breathnach completed(hopefully) translation of menu_messages which should be added to the URL above in a short while.

April 18th, 2000.
Sean Kelley did some work on mandrake-desk.po

April 15th, 2000.
Pablo mailed us to remind us that there's work to be done! According to the above URL, the Irish translation is only 28% finished.
